Making a purchase on our website could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to able to complete the order. You can also purchase items by speaking to our friendly sales staff, by email, fax, post or at our trade counter.

We accept card transactions, Debit, Visa and MasterCard. If you do not wish to pay online, we can accept payment at our trade counter by card transaction, cash, cheque (items will be shipped once a cheque has cleared) or BACS.

We must receive payment for the whole of the price of the goods you order, and any applicable charges for delivery before we can process your order for delivery. Trade cash and credit account companies are also subject to the "Trade Cash and Credit account” terms and conditions.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice.

When entering into a contract we reserve the rights at anytime after acceptance of an order, but prior to delivery to revise the price payable for the goods and/or services to take into account a discrepancy e.g. an item has been discontinued, is the wrong price on the website (a mistake in the price) or a change in tax. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the new price is acceptable. Goods shall only become the property of the customer once full payment has been received.

Shipping And Handling Sorry but we currently only deliver to main land United Kingdom. Order before 10:30am and stocked items will be dispatched same day. All other items will normally be dispatched within 5-10 working business days. Any item exceeding our standard delivery terms you will be notified immediately.

You must inform us within one working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received in good condition.

You must make all necessary provisions to ensure that the delivery of the goods can take place and be accepted by you on the date and times specified. If you delay delivery or fail to take delivery on the date and time specified we will try to arrange for an alternative delivery date within 30 days of the failed delivery. If a delivery fails due to your fault then we have the right to cancel delivery of the item and charge re stocking charges or if a re-delivery can be arranged then these re-delivery costs shall be borne by you.

You must ensure that we can deliver the goods on the date and to the address detailed on the invoice. A valid signature will be required on collection or delivery. In the unlikely event that you have not received all the goods with in the stated delivery time you must notify us immediately. You must not install the items or schedule any installation until you have received all the goods and have checked that the goods are free from defects or missing parts.

Please check that your order is complete and free from damages or defects before acknowledging receipt – our delivery note will be attached to one of the products. If your order is incomplete please indicate this clearly on the carrier’s delivery note and sign only for the goods you have received. E.g. "Incomplete – 2 parcels only received” Damaged parcels should be refused and signed E.g. "1 parcel returned damaged in transit”

Please do not accept the delivery / parcels without checking and do not sign "not inspected” or "unchecked” etc as this will void any subsequent claim. We will only deliver your goods to the exterior of a ground floor location. You must make your own arrangements at your own risk to transport your goods to any other location. We will not unpack, remove packaging, install or provide an installation service for supply only goods.

Any dates or times given for delivery of goods is an estimate only. We shall not be liable to you if we do not deliver on or at a particular date or time.

If you fail to accept delivery of any goods when they are ready for delivery, or if we are unable to deliver the goods because you have not provided appropriate instructions, documents or consents, we shall be entitled to immediate full payment and the risk in the goods shall pass to you. You become liable for all related costs in storage of the materials until delivery can be made and also all costs in additional transport of the materials including labour to offload.

A suitable access road must be available for us to deliver the materials. If no such road is available we will deliver to the nearest safest point and the goods are to be transported to the site by you. Ownership of the goods shall not pass to you until we have received in full (in cleared funds) all sums due to us in respect of the goods and all other sums which are or become due to us from you on any account. Until ownership of the goods has passed to you, you shall hold the goods on a fiduciary basis as our bailee and store the goods (at no cost to us) in satisfactory condition and in such a way that they remain readily identifiable as our property and you shall tell us immediately where the goods are situated.

You grant to us and our agents an irrevocable license at any time to enter any premises (with and without vehicles) where the goods are or maybe stored in order to inspect them or, where your rights to possession has terminated, to recover them.

Estimates Any Estimate of quantities needed, advice as to the availability of any goods and plan or measurement given are for guidance only. You must satisfy yourself that the goods and/or services ordered are correct.

Online Calculator, Estimating Tool And Illustrations The illustrations and quantities provided when you use our calculators / estimating tools (Eg. SUSPENDED CEILING CALCULATOR) are for guidance only.  You must satisfy yourself that the goods and/or services ordered are correct and to the required standards. We hold no design responsibility, any quantities provided are estimates and we hold no responsibility for mistakes, shortfalls or over orders.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges The appropriate rate of VAT is added.

Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Returns Policy Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, less delivery costs. Returned goods will be subject to a restocking charge. Some goods may not be a restockable item.

Goods can be purchase up to the agreed credit limit; if this credit limit is exceeded then the goods will be placed on hold until invoices have been paid to bring the total below the agreed credit limit. A statement will be sent monthly which is to be settled strictly within 30 days. Payment can be made on our website by secure card transaction, cheque, BACS, cash.

Our network of couriers have been individually selected based on their performance and customer feedback.

 

Local deliveries are carried out by our own fleet of vans and vehicles. Local deliveries are Manchester, Bolton, Trafford park and the surrounding areas including Walkden, Wigan, Eccles, Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport and many more.

 

We also provide nationwide deliveries using a selected network of couriers. Royal mail and APC provide our smaller parcel deliveries with Tuffnells and Chorlton Express delivering our much larger items & loads. You can be rest assured that your item will arrive nearly every time next day.

 

Some of the products we have listed provide a direct delivery service which ensures that we provide the quickest delivery possible. Youngman steps & ladders, screws & fixings, ceiling tiles and drylining materials in certain circumstances can be delivered direct from the manufacturer or selected partners.

 

In stock items will be delivered within 1 to 2 working days

 

Out of stock items will be delivered within 5 to 10 working days

 

We will endeavour where possible to reduce the lead times, these are usually our worst-case scenarios.

 

Deliveries are calculated on the total weight of the products purchased.

You will not be charged any more than £10.00 Incl. VAT per item. (unless there is a small handling charge for oversized items) Most deliveries will be cheaper as this is an example of the delivery costs for the suspended ceiling tiles.

Ceiling tiles unless requested are not dispatched on a Friday. Ceiling tiles purchased after 10:30am on a Thursday will be delivered the following Tuesday.

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT AIM TO MAKE MONEY ON POSTAGE AND ARE ALWAYS LOOKING AT WAYS TO MAKE OUR DELIVERY COSTS CHEAPER.

 

COLLECT FROM OUR SHOP / SALES COUNTER:

 

You can checkout using a collection option and therefore save on postage and handling charges. By checking out in this way the postage costs and handling charges will not be added to your cart. However, you will have to collect your item from our sales counter at Albert Road, Farnworth, Bolton, BL4 9EL.

 

Some items are stored at our other warehouses and can be made available for collection or delivery usually next day if ordered before 3pm. Although some items may say out of stock on our website it is always worth a call to see if it is in our store being prepared or available for a next day dispatch / collection. 

 

YOU WILL NEED PROOF OF PURCHASE AND THE CARD YOU MADE PAYMENT WITH IF YOU ARE COLLECTING AN ITEM ORDER ONLINE. THIS IS A POLICY THAT CAN NOT BE CHANGED.
